Hearts and Flowers Ribbon Cutting

Some members of the Keene Chamber of Commerce gathered for a ribbon cutting ceremony May 28 at the new location of Hearts and Flowers at 314 S. Old Betsy Road in the West End Shopping Center.

Although Hearts and Flowers relocated from Old Betsy Village on July 4, 2008, scheduling conflicts continued to postpone the ribbon cutting.

Attending the ceremony were, in back from left, Marissa Nolasco, John Read, Jere Putnam, Carol Harrell, Dave Tucker, Susan Meyer, Gwen Beeson, Janet Goodman and Ismael Lopez. In front, from left, are Mayor Roy Robinson, Melba Bower, June Hollis, Hearts and Flowers owner Sharon Vaughn with scissors, Brenda Hudson, Samantha Gillin, Sarah Layton and Rueben Hernandez.
